HIMS is a comprehensive, modular, integrated, web-enabled open sourced technology based system with an open system design. HIMS is being proposed as an enterprise wide HIS solution initially for the Pilot Project in the region of Delhi under the guidance of Ministry of Health. Based on the success of the pilot project, HIMS will be rolled out at the remaining sites of Government Hospitals in a gradual and planned manner.
It is a matter of great pride for us that HIMS is the only software product from LGS that has attained global success in a short span of 5 years, in a specialized Hi-Tech area like Healthcare Informatics. Currently more than 30 multi-site healthcare establishments have opted for HIMS in India & Abroad and it is a matter of great achievement that all the successes of HIMS were against established HIS players from India.
Over the years, HIMS has been scaling greater heights. At each step, value addition in terms of technological benefits, functionality benefits and usage benefits have been accruing to the growing customer base.

LGS is planning to launch pioneering efforts in introduction of Medical Informatics Syllabi at various medical & nursing colleges in the country, with the purpose of providing a solid training backbone for the College’s Health Information Management program. The Health Information Management program prepares students to function as future health information managers responsible for the management of systems used to process information related to research, planning, provision and evaluation of healthcare services |
LGS’s senior consultants are among the select speakers at various international and regional health information conferences. Papers on Healthcare Informatics have been presented at various leading conferences across the globe |
Supports paper-less and film-less environments: HIMS provides for the creation of an electronic patient record, which is comprehensive and has the facility to incorporate multimedia capabilities. The multimedia based EMR in HIMS contributes to the creation of a “paperless and film-less” environment |
